What does the future hold for your Douglas County Fairgrounds? If you attend events at the fairgrounds, participate in 4-H, or play sports at the fairgrounds fields, you won’t want to miss an upcoming Live Town Hall at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 16.

The Douglas County Fairgrounds in Castle Rock is home to your annual Fair & Rodeo and hundreds of other events. Demand for the event space has exceeded capacity, so now Douglas County, the Douglas County Fair Board and the Douglas County Fair Foundation are planning for future renovations.

Whether participating in the room, on the phone or online, this is your opportunity to see a draft of the master plan, hear from the planners and provide input. Learn about the planning process and proposed reallocation of space currently occupied by fields.
