P.S. Miller Building access during Third St. closure Aug. 13-27, 2021

Beginning Friday, Aug. 13 through Friday, Aug. 27, the intersection of Third Street and the alley opposite the Douglas County P.S. Miller Building will be closed as part of the Town of Castle Rock Downtown Alley Improvement Project.

Public access to the Miller Building at 100 Third St. in Castle Rock and the adjacent parking areas will be maintained. Please follow detour signs in the area to navigate around the closure or view a map and a diagram of the closure with suggested detours.

The Town of Castle Rock’s contractor, Elite Surface Infrastructure, will be completing sanitary sewer installations as well as natural gas line relocations underneath the roadway.  This closure is necessary for the safety of the public and the crews.

Visitors and employees are reminded to be alert and watchful — while driving and walking — for traffic, heavy equipment and other distractions around the closure and the Miller Building.

We appreciate your patience while the Town of Castle Rock completes these improvements.
