Honoring all who’ve served our country is a proud tradition in Douglas County.

Pay tribute to the veteran in your life with the gift of a Holiday Wreath from the American Heritage Girls. Join County Commissioner Lora Thomas in supporting our Local American Heritage Girls Troop 8909 and their mission to raise funds for Wreaths Across America.

Wreaths Across America raises funds each year to distribute wreaths in remembrance of veterans across the country.

You can also join the American Heritage Girls, December 18th, as they will be laying wreaths at the resting site of veterans at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Watch as Commissioner Thomas shares why this mission is so important to her.
