If you’ve driven the intersection of University/Lincoln and Quebec in Highlands Ranch, you’ve seen the progress. In late June, there will be one final piece of concrete left to pave, and we are asking you to plan ahead for significant traffic impacts.

From 5 p.m. Saturday, June 22 to 5 p.m., Sunday, June 23, crews will pave in the middle of the intersection. For the safety of crews and the traveling public – and to increase paving efficiency and effectiveness – there will be very limited access through the intersection.

Please consider an alternate route to bypass construction during this time. Alternate routes include Wildcat Reserve Parkway, McArthur Ranch Road, Gleneagles Village Parkway, Park Meadows Drive, Lone Tree Parkway, Timberline Road, South Yosemite Street, I-25 and C-470. When taking an alternate route, please abide by the posted speed limits and give yourself plenty of time to get to your destination. View detour map.

If you cannot avoid the area and must drive the intersection, expect heavy delays and:

Following this weekend, major concrete work will be complete, and crews will continue work on landscaping and striping operations, which will require daily intermittent lane closures. Full project completion is expected later this summer.
