Are you looking to kick off a family adventure in 2025? How about exploring Douglas County’s 65,000 acres of pristine open spaces and trails while learning about native wildlife and habitats in a fun and interactive way? Embark on a journey with us through the free Agents of Discovery app!
For families who’ve taken part in the Decode program, Agents of Discovery is the next phase of exploration. You’ll get to conquer quests, ace trivia and complete challenges through the app.
The adventure begins as soon as you download the app by following the instructions on our webpage. In January, you’ll get to know your tour guide Agent Douglas and learn what our county’s black bears are up to in the winter months. There’s a new Douglas County-specific mission to download each month to guide you and your family through the year and help you learn why our home is one of the healthiest and happiest places in the nation.
The Agents of Discovery app is a partnership between Douglas County Open Space and Natural Resources and Douglas Land Conservancy. It’s also one way we celebrate 30 years of the Douglas County Open Space and Natural Resources Department and its partnership with residents in 2025.
