Are you a Douglas County resident with a love for 4H, FFA and the County Fair and Rodeo?

If so, you could be the next member of the Douglas County Fair Board — representing a vibrant community tradition that is more than 100 years old.

Interested residents are encouraged to apply for the three open seats on or before Sept. 23, 2019.

Candidates for this volunteer position will ideally have knowledge of or experience in 4H or FFA programs, rodeo or special events, volunteer management, or the entertainment industry.

As a Board member, you will be required to participate in two existing committees, which meet twice a month.  In addition, members attend a monthly Board meeting and can expect to spend an average of three to four hours a week engaged in Fair business.

For more information about the Fair Board or to complete an application, please visit the Douglas County Fair Board or contact Luanne Lee, Fairgrounds Manager, at 720.733.6900.
