Do you reside in Douglas County and have professional experience working with families and children – perhaps as a therapist, teacher, or social worker?

Are you especially proficient in helping to resolve issues, can remain impartial, and effectively communicate?

If so, your qualifications may also position you as the next member of the Douglas County Human Services Citizen Review Panel.

The County’s Citizen Review Panel of four is appointed by the Board of County Commissioners and fulfills the state-mandated formal grievance process for determining the legitimacy of complaints against county human services personnel.

Panel recommendations are submitted to the director of Human Services for resolution. The recommendations are limited to those actions within the authority of the director.

Interested residents of Douglas County may Apply for a District III vacancy by Feb. 25.
