Autopsy reports are deemed public records per Colorado Revised Statutes. The Douglas County Coroner’s Office will process autopsy report requests as soon as possible. Generally, autopsy reports are available within 8 to 10 weeks after the autopsy is completed and may be delayed due to the nature of the death. Please note that requests for archived reports may require administration review before release.
