Douglas County is election-ready in 2024. Are you?

Check your voter status and find a ballot drop box near you for the June 25 Primary and Special Congressional Vacancy Election

If you are a registered voter in Douglas County, anticipate the arrival of your ballot by mail the week of June 3. Follow the checklist below to make sure you are election-ready for the June 25, 2024, Primary Election and Special Congressional Vacancy Election. And remember, DouglasVotes.com is your trusted source for election information.

  1. Check your voter registration/register to vote. Visit Colorado’s secure, statewide voter registration database, GoVoteColorado.gov, to register to vote, check your voter registration status, select your political affiliation, or update your mailing address. If your mailing address has changed since you last voted in a Douglas County election, be certain to update it now to ensure you receive your mail ballot and other important election information.
  2. Track your mail ballot. Visit DouglasVotes.com to sign up for phone, text, or email notifications from BallotTrax to watch your ballot from the time it’s mailed to you to when it’s accepted at Douglas County Elections.
  3. Locate your closest Ballot Drop Box or Voter Service and Polling Center (VSPC). Did you know that 90% of Douglas County voters prefer to deliver their ballots for free using one of the convenient ballot drop box locations countywide? Twenty-one secure ballot drop boxes will be open 24 hours a day beginning June 3, 2024, through 7 p.m. on Election Day, June 25, 2024. For those who need in-person voter assistance, VSPC locations will begin opening across Douglas County on June 10. Visit a VSPC of your choice to register to vote or update your voter registration, replace a ballot, drop off your voted ballot, vote in person, or use an ADA-accessible voting machine, until 7 p.m. on Election Day.
  4.
