Douglas County is once again Colorado’s healthiest

Douglas ranked among the healthiest Colorado Counties since 2011.

Congratulations, residents of Douglas County! You live in the healthiest County in Colorado according to the County Health Rankings & Roadmaps (CHR&R) analysis created by the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute, with funding from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

The findings specific to Douglas County, are based on data collected between 2014 and 2021 that evaluate counties on health outcomes — length and quality of life. Douglas County residents rank highest in length of life and have the highest quality of life.  The County has been ranked as one of the top two healthiest Colorado Counties since 2011.
