Douglas County launches COVID-19 Small Business Relief Grant program

County allocation of Colorado Small Business Relief Funds now available to eligible applicants.

Businesses with physical locations in Douglas County and headquarters in Colorado may be eligible for COVID-19 Small Business Relief Grants through the County’s allocation of Colorado Senate Bill 20B-001 funding.

Restaurants, bars and other drinking establishments, caterers, movie theatres, and gyms and recreation centers with annual revenue less than $2.5 million and a minimum of 20% revenue loss due to COVID-19 impacts may be eligible to apply for these relief funds.

Business owners are invited to review eligibility details and apply for this new Douglas County Small Business Relief Grant program. Applications will be accepted through 5 p.m. on Jan. 29, 2021.

Relief grants will be awarded in amounts up to $3,500, $5,000 or $7,000 based on 2019 sales or revenue, as established in the legislation, and final awards will be determined after all applications have been received.
