Ellie Reynolds has been named Chief Executive Officer for the Northwest Douglas County Chamber & Economic Development Corporation (NWDC Chamber & EDC).

Effective May 30, 2023, Ms. Reynolds will lead this Board-governed organization in support of its members in Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree, Roxborough, Sterling Ranch, as well as those along the Highway 85/Santa Fe Corridor in Douglas County.

With extensive experience in both the public and private sectors, Mrs. Reynolds is strongly positioned to lead the Chamber and EDC in its goal to continue pushing the Douglas County region to the forefront of business development. Her diverse business background includes representing clients in industries ranging from pharmaceuticals to real estate developers to transportation, providing members with a unique and relatable perspective when it comes to connecting them with the resources and opportunities they need.

“Ellie is a gifted leader, community advocate, and economic development champion who will advance the interests of the Chamber, EDC, and the Douglas County business community,” said Geoff Lawton, Chamber and EDC Board Chair.

Prior to her new role, Mrs. Reynolds led the state and local affairs division as a principal at the 76 Group, a Denver public affairs consulting firm. She will continue to lead the division as she takes the reins at the Chamber and EDC.

“Northwest Douglas County is my home,” said Ellie Reynolds. “I am excited to join a powerhouse Board of Directors who work – day in and day out – to ensure that our communities remain the best place to start and grow a business in the State of Colorado. Douglas County is open for business thanks to leaders who understand the value of economic growth and development. I am thankful for this opportunity and grateful for the faith that the board has shown in me,” said Reynolds.

Mrs. Reynolds’ experience also includes serving in a leadership role managing public affairs issues for Waste Management’s Western Region in Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Arizona and Wyoming. While there, Mrs. Reynolds strategically partnered with communities, the public, local government, and regulatory authorities throughout the region.

Mrs. Reynolds is a Board Member at Ready Colorado, a nonprofit organization focused on improving Colorado’s education system through assisting students and families. She is a graduate of the Leadership Program of the Rockies, and a former Fox News contributor.

She currently resides in Sterling Ranch with her husband and son, Theodore (Teddy).
