Are you having trouble paying for housing, transportation, utilities, food or medications due to COVID-19?

There may be assistance available to help if you or someone in your home has lost your job or been financially impacted due to the pandemic. Through the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, Douglas County has temporary additional funding to provide emergency/general assistance relief for COVID related issues.

Applications for these General Assistance funds are being accepted now through 5 p.m. on Dec. 4, 2020.  In order to be considered for this assistance, qualified applicants must demonstrate their needs are a direct result of the COVID pandemic.

Learn more about this program and complete an application. Applications are also available through Douglas County Human Services and many community partners. If you have questions or need help completing the application call 303-688-4825.

You may return your completed application to [email protected] or drop-off at the Douglas County Human Services offices located at 4400 Castleton Court in Castle Rock.
