join us for a Live Town Hall regarding Your Property Taxes on April 26 from 6 to 8 p.m.
If you own a home in Douglas County, you can expect to see your Notice of Valuation postcard in your mailbox in early May. But the assessed value displayed on that card will likely be higher than you expected. Hear directly from our Douglas County Assessor about the scheduled reappraisal of property, the role of state law in that assessment, how the reappraisal will impact you, and your options to appeal.
The Live Town Hall begins at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 26. The event will be in person at the Philip S. Miller Building, 100 Third St. in Castle Rock. Those who join in person will have an opportunity to speak personally with Douglas County Commissioners and panelists after the hour-long event.
Join online at douglas.co.us/townhall or via phone by calling 833-380-0668, or simply answer the phone when we call to invite you to join us. To receive a call just before a Live Town Hall begins, visit douglas.co.us/townhall and register.
