We all need a helping hand sometimes, offering that help and connection to resources is the mission of Douglas County Human Services. To ensure greater access to services, a new Human Services office location is now open to serve residents in the northern part of Douglas County, inside the new Highlands Ranch Senior Center, 200 E. Highlands Ranch Pkwy, Suite 101. This location is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Highlands Ranch office location provides a variety of services for people of all ages, including a place for individuals to apply for these safety net programs:
- Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
- Medicaid
- Old Age Pension
- Aid to the Needy Disabled
- Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF)
The Highlands Ranch office also provides the opportunity for individuals to submit verification, documentation and redeterminations or to pick up their Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card. All other services and programs remain accessible at the Human Services location at 4400 Castleton Court in Castle Rock.
