Cockroaches

Cockroaches are insects approximately ½-inch long. They are nocturnal but can be active during the day if disturbed. Cockroaches live in dark, humid environments such as kitchens and bathrooms. They are not associated with disease outbreaks in the US, but they can carry disease.

Prevention and Remediation

To prevent a cockroach infestation, maintain a clean environment.  This includes:

  • Do not leave food or trash out.
  • Keep food in sealed containers.
  • Seal cracks in your home to prevent entry.

If you are dealing with an existing infestation, please contact a professional pest control service.
