Are you a resident of Douglas County with a passion for public health and a heart for service?

If your answer is yes, please consider applying for the vacant seat as a Douglas County representative on the Tri-County Health Department Board of Health. Applications for this vacancy must be received by Feb. 25, 2021.

Members of this Board of nine – three each from Adams, Arapahoe and Douglas Counties – are appointed by their respective County Commissioners and serve five-year terms.

In addition to the county residency requirement, ideal candidates for this vacant position would have related expertise in areas such as: public health; environmental health; medicine/nursing; health promotion/health education; mental health/social work; education; community advocacy; and public policy.
