Is Challenger Regional Park in Parker your family’s go-to place for soccer, softball, baseball or football? You can be a part of bringing new life to the park. Volunteer to help plant trees and clean up the Cherry Creek Trail at a volunteer event from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Aug. 19.
This volunteer event is ideal for families, youth groups, sports teams or anyone else looking to do something beneficial for the community. Douglas County will provide snacks, water, trees and tools. Each volunteer will also receive a goodie bag filled with a T-shirt, water bottle, sunscreen and lip balm. All you need is your enthusiasm, a hat, gloves, sunglasses and sturdy shoes!
