If you need to make an online payment for a records request, to repay a claim for Food, Cash, or Medicaid assistance, or to pay a special payment arranged with Child Support staff, you can use the links below.
Child Support payments and records request fees can be made by either Credit Card or E-Check. Claim and Recovery payments can only be made by E-Check.
Prior to making your online payment, you will need your Case-ID*, unless you are making a payment for a Records Request Fee.
*For Child Support, Case-ID is your FSR Account Number.
E-Check payments from both checking or savings accounts are accepted with the following stipulations:
There is no charge to you for an e-Check payment.
When paying by e-check, payment is not considered complete until it is charged against your bank account.
Most returned e-check payments are due to an invalid bank account number. Please make sure the bank account number you provide is accurate and to include all digits between the symbols.
A credit card payment, using MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Discover can be accepted with the following stipulations:
A 2.19% convenience fee will be charged for payments using Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover credit or debit cards. The convenience fee is in addition to the amount due and calculated based on the initial transaction amount.
You will have the opportunity to review the total amount due with the convenience fee, if applicable, prior to payment submission.
While you will be paying fees to Douglas County – Human Services, the full amount of the convenience fee is passed to Municipal Services Bureau (MSB) as the secure third-party provider of this online payment service.
Returned or rejected electronic payments or credit card payments will result in a minimum returned payment fee of $20.00
