If you’re looking to get involved in elections at the local level, DouglasVotes.com is the place to start for trusted information.

In even-numbered years, election season kicks off with party-hosted precinct caucus events. While the Douglas County Elections Office does not host these events, it is a source of information for how to get involved.

To be eligible to vote in a political party’s precinct caucus a voter must be:

To find your precinct information to participate in caucus, visit GoVoteColorado.gov and follow these steps:

  1. Click on “Find my registration.”
  2. Enter your first and last name, ZIP code, and birthday, then click “Search.”
  3. Select the tab titled “County & District Information.” Your Precinct number and its explanation will be listed under “District Information.” The last three digits of your precinct number are the information you need to determine your caucus location.

You can also find your precinct information by entering your address into Douglas County’s interactive Voter Precincts map.
