Description:
The molded amber apothecary medicine bottle is embossed, "PEROXIDE OF HYDROGEN". The manufacturing date likely ranges between 1915 and the early 1920's. The bottle has a narrow mouth indicating it is machine made. Two faint seams are observed running from the base to a point at the top edge of the lip. The bottle was sealed with a cork.
For a long period of time this bottle was buried. When moisture contacts its surface, the glass begins to deteriorate as displayed by the opalescent markings.

The round bottle measures, from the top of the lip to the base, 5.05 inches. It has a flat or patent neck finish. The small bore measures 0.41 inches. The shoulders do not slope and are rounded. The base of the bottle has no markings. One portion of the slightly indented base is thicker than its polar opposite. The base measuress 1.86 inches.
