Description:
This antique hooked hames is made of wood and steel and had many uses in plowing. The �backband� is made of steel. Rings are observed for plow lines along with loggerhead hooks that attached a trace chain. Eight links of the chain are intact. See "Inscription Maker's Mark" for information on attachment apparatus. Entire Hames and attached apparatus have been painted brown.
