Hames Collar

Brass ball top steel bound bolt hames has a harness attached to line rings and is attached to a vintage leather collar. The steel hames displays a stamped manufacturer's mark USHCO for United States Harness Company who supplied the US Calvary Division with harnesses in WWI. A surplus was later sold to the public. This may have been used for a mule due to its smaller size in the hames collection.
