Description:
This is an aqua square bottle with a broken basal corner and up the same edge. The sides are slightly concave and the base is concave in a slightly oval shape within the square. The glass has heavy patina.There are seams on opposite edges from the base to the bottom ring on the neck.
The base profile is French Square, the panelled body type is arrow type, the neck finish has one collar ring, a ball top and wide mouth with ring lip.

This bottle was probably used for preserves, pickles, or salad dressing. There is an embossed trademark in the base, a diamond shape with the letters IGCO. Internet research indicates this was a glass factory in Alton, IL.
