Give yourself extra time to navigate C-470 or US 85 (Santa Fe Drive) in Highlands Ranch overnight Thursday. Several detours will be in place around the interchange of C-470 and US 85 from 8 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 1 until 5:30 a.m., Friday, Aug. 2.
These closures are necessary for driver and worker safety during overhead bridge construction. During these closures, crews will pour the concrete bridge surface to form the eastern portion of the new US 85 bridge over C-470. The work is a key milestone in the project to widen US 85 from Highlands Ranch Parkway to just north of C-470 and improve traffic flow at several intersections, including this interchange.
A full closure of Town Center Drive east of US 85 will be in place during these overnight impacts.
Please take an alternate route or plan extra time. Pay close attention to posted speed limits and signage. Watch for crews.
Here are the planned detours:
Northbound US 85 through traffic
Southbound US 85 through traffic
If weather conditions do not allow this work to take place as originally scheduled, crews will conduct this work at a later date.
Please watch for crews, heed the speed limit, and avoid distracted driving in the work zone.
