The Douglas County Zoning Resolution (DCZR) governs the use of land for residential and non-residential purposes. It limits the height and bulk of buildings and other structures, and limits lot occupancy. The DCZR determines the setbacks and provides for open spaces by establishing standards of performance and design. To determine the zoning of a property, visit DC Maps.
To view any section of the DCZR, please click on the appropriate Section Title. Any amendments made to the DCZR are noted on the Title Page. An “amended and the date it was amended” are included after the paragraph(s) that were updated. If an entire section was updated, the amended date will appear in the upper right corner of the document.
