Hundreds of public works professionals are committed, every day, to providing vital services that protect the health, quality of life and well-being of those who live in Douglas County.
From designing, building and repairing roads, to snow removal, water quality monitoring, and maintaining public structures and facilities, these dedicated employees are working to make our lives easier.
May 16-22 is National Public Works Week – a time to recognize and appreciate the many positive impacts public works have on our communities.
