ADA Transition Plan for Public Right-of-Way

In accordance with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and 28 CFR 35.105, a public entity that employs 50 or more persons must develop a Transition Plan to improve accessibility to pedestrian facilities within the County’s transportation system. The Douglas County Board of County Commissioners has approved the ADA Transition Plan for Public Right-of-Way which identifies procedures for implementing the Plan, removing barriers and promoting accessibility in the public right-of-way.
