Project Update

  • The ballot initiative to approve debt related to the 2023 Spring Canyon Local Improvement District (LID) was approved by the voters in the LID on November 5, 2024, with a debt cap of $19,580,000.
  • The County plans to issue an RFP for financial services in January 2025, with proposals due in February 2025.
  • Once financing is confirmed, preliminary design is scheduled to begin on the project with a target completion date of June 2025.
  • Final design is scheduled for completion in December 2025 and bids for construction will be obtained in early 2026.
  • Construction is expected to begin in 2026 and be completed in 2027.
  • Based on this timeline, the first assessment of property owners will be due in 2028.

Description

The 2023 Spring Canyon LID consists of 74 lots in Perry Park.  See the PPWSD Potential LIDs For Currently Unbuildable Parcels map and search for Group 2 for the specific location.  This LID was created in August of 2024.  Proposed improvements include roadways, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water, and gas and electric mains.
