Update (Sept. 5-10): University Boulevard (Crossland Way & Crosspoint) Small UV CIPP Pipe Lining Project has started up again! Douglas County will be closing the EB & WB outside lanes of University Blvd. between Crossland Way & Crosspointe from Sept. 5-10, 2024. This will allow our contractor to complete the lining of the storm sewer that goes across University Blvd. between Douglas County’s Highlands Heritage Regional Park & the Highlands Ranch Metro District’s (HRMD) Cheese Ranch Historic Park. There is also a section of pipe in HRMD’s Cheese Ranch Historic Park that is required to be excavated to be lined. Work hours will extend beyond the normal road closure times due to the nature of the maintenance being completed.
County Line Road and Quebec Street Drainage Improvements (Sept. 3-17): Construction started on Sept. 3 and is anticipated to be completed on Sept. 17. The Southeast Metro Stormwater Authority (SEMSWA) in partnership with the City of Lone Tree and Douglas County is working with L&M Enterprises Inc. to replace the deteriorated 15” corrugated metal storm sewer that runs north south across County Line Road at Quebec Street with a new 15” reinforced concrete pipe. The existing pipe has severely degraded and poses a risk to County Line Road. If you have any questions related to this project, please contact Jon Nelson, CIP Project Manager at SEMSWA at 303-858-8844 or [email protected].
