Project Update

Updated April 21, 2025

  • On-hold as of March 24: Highlands Ranch subdivision UV Lining is ‘on-hold’ waiting for the delivery of additional sewer pipe liners. This project is anticipated to be completed in December 2025.

Description

Highlands Ranch Small Storm Sewer UV-CIPP Lining Project

The Highlands Ranch Small Storm Sewer UV-CIPP Lining projects are anticipated to start soon in 2025– this project will repair pipes located on Plaza Drive (Broadway & Ridgeline) and on Broadway (south of Northridge Recreation Center driveway). This project is anticipated to be completed in December 2025, weather dependent (see map of the area of these locations above or in “Photos” section below).

Storm Pipe Video Inspections

The 2024-2025 Highlands Ranch subdivision Storm Sewer Pipe Video Inspection Program is ongoing (started in mid-March 2024) and we will be adding 43,500 linear feet (approx. 325 sections) of storm sewer to be inspected. In Highlands Ranch alone, there are approximately 500,000 feet of pipe in existing stormwater systems and cross culverts. The Douglas County Storm Sewer Pipe Video Program began over six years ago, has already completed videos on more than half of these locations, and the remaining locations will continue to be worked on over the next few years.
