In observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, all Douglas County Government offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 20. Offices will reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 21, for normal business. Many County services are available 24/7 by visiting online services.
Safe and reliable transportation projects are a high priority for Douglas County. The revenues collected for these types of projects maintain and improve the overall condition, safety, operations, and expansion of Douglas County’s transportation system.
Funding: Our primary sources of funding come from revenue generated in three funds: the Road and Bridge Fund (Fund 200), the Road Sales & Use Tax Fund (Fund 230), and the Transportation Infrastructure Fund (Fund 235).
The Transportation Capital Improvements Program (CIP) is managed effectively and economically to maintain and improve the overall reliability, condition, safety, and traffic operations of Douglas County’s transportation system.
