If you drive through or live near the University/Lincoln and Quebec intersection in Highlands Ranch, you will be glad to know – the end of construction is near.
Over the last three months, crews working to improve the nearly 40-year-old intersection have tripled their progress. Now the work is nearly complete. Watch this message from your Board of County Commissioners.
With all new concrete, a new traffic signal system, raised pedestrian safety islands and several additional lanes, the intersection is scheduled to be complete 10 weeks ahead of schedule and before school starts, though some punch list items may occur after Aug. 7.
In April, we heard your feedback and fast-tracked the project by extending work hours and maintaining lane closures 24/7. Thank you for your patience!
