Brauchler was elected in November to serve as the District Attorney in the new 23rd Judicial District, which includes Douglas, Elbert and Lincoln Counties. He will offer his perspective on what to expect for the tone, tenor and pace of criminal justice in the new district.

Brauchler will take the oath of office on Jan. 14, 2025, and then the new 23rd Judicial District will begin taking cases.
